Once our team has created your personalised treatment plan, we meet you again, face to face.
This time we will go through your Teeth in a Day treatment plan discussing every aspect. This includes dental implant costs and financial payment plans. If you agree, we can move ahead and schedule your Teeth in a Day treatment.
Depending upon your situation, your first appointment may include taking impressions and recordings of your bite, choosing the size, shape, colour of your new teeth and a trial fitting.
Our Chesham patients should note that we normally start the surgical process early in the morning to give us sufficient time to complete the procedure in one visit.
Firstly we’ll administer a comfortable anaesthetic. Then, if any teeth need to be extracted before getting your same-day teeth, we will do this first. Next, our dental implant dentist will carefully position 4 -6 dental implants to secure your new denture. Finally, your temporary denture is secured into position. After completion, we will give you some time to rest in our relaxation area before going home with a brand new, fully functioning smile.
Finally, a dental review will be scheduled approximately 7 days after surgery to see how you and your new smile are bearing up.
We will continue to check your progress several more times over a 3-4 month period and when we feel the time is right, we will remove your temporary denture and replace it with your custom permanent teeth. Any adjustments for comfort can be made at this stage.
