Ready to take a glimpse into your dental treatment journey?
Let’s begin…
We make it easy for you to book an appointment with us. You can either call our York House Dental Practice direct on 01494 783 874 or you can visit our website to book online. Booking takes a matter of minutes and in addition to weekday appointments, we also have Saturday appointments available.
Alternatively, if you are considering dental implants, Invisible orthodontics (Invisalign) or smile makeover treatments we provide an initial consultation free of charge. This way, you can find out if the treatment is right for you and get the information you require to make an informed dental decision.
Once you have taken the plunge and booked, your dental treatment journey begins. The next step is to undergo a dental health check. This is a standard procedure for all new patients and may involve a combination of dental x-rays or 3D or intraoral scans. This will be accompanied by a gentle but thorough check of your teeth, gums and mouth. We will also address any concerns or answer any questions you have about any aspect of treatment or your oral health.
Afterwards, our Chesham dentist will explain their findings to you and will recommend treatment if and when required.
As an aside, we practice non-judgemental dental care so there is no need to feel embarrassed about your teeth. Instead, we will work closely with you to help you achieve the healthy smile you want without passing judgement.
If our dentist does recommend further treatment, our treatment coordinator will review your plan with you and help you to secure any finance if needed. They will also help to schedule treatment at a convenient time that suits you.
Over the next few dental appointments, our highly skilled team will work with you to restore or rejuvenate your smile. We will help you to feel comfortable and calm in our treatment areas and because our dentists have a reputation for gentle dental care, you are in safe hands.
If you are a nervous or anxious patient then we can also assist with mild dental sedation to help you relax and for those undergoing orthodontic (clear aligner) treatment we may be able to review your progress remotely, so you don’t always have to attend frequent check-ups in person.
Your dental experience doesn’t need to end simply because your treatment plan does. Certain treatments may need regular check-ups to ensure that everything remains on track. And even when this is not the case, we want to help you to maintain your best smile for many years to come. For this reason, we recommend that you book regular check-ups to help keep your teeth and gums healthy.
